On March 30th, 2024, Thistle sat down with N3VLYNNN to discuss her research on the life and times of Pauli Murray.
In recent years, Queer theory scholars have shown interest in “transing” Ms. Murray posthumously using her own words from documents at the Schlesinger Library at Harvard to “prove” Ms. Murray had a “gender identity.”
N3VLYNNN traveled to the library herself to study the primary sources queer theorists were citing and wrote the article linked below. To get the most out of watching this interview, we recommend you read N3VLYNNN’s stellar article about Ms. Murray, “How the Trans Movement is Erasing Black Women from History: Setting the Record Straight about Pauli Murray.”
