Recently, there’s been a rise in radical feminist activism across America. Women are peaking left and right, wanting to do something about trans ideology and its harms. Catch the wave with WLRN’s Thistle Pettersen and her guest JG as they discuss the newly formed ‘TERF’ Collective, and the struggles, joys, and politics of feminist organizing.
JG is an anti-imperialist and separatist radical feminist doing what she can to hasten the arrival of the revolution. She seeks to leverage the untapped potential of distributive social networks to connect women across platforms. She is also interested in guerilla approaches to subversion, especially by conceiving of ways in which women can engage in simultaneous actions remotely with the aim of exerting system-wide pressure that cannot be ignored and is harder to dissipate. JG currently hosts semi-weekly chat sessions with gender-critical women and radical feminists from all over the world called TERF Nights. There, she joins together decades-long activists and those newly peaked in wide-ranging conversations. They discuss their personal struggles, gender ideology, women’s rights, protest actions, and participants are invited to imagine a future free of the impositions and requirements of the patriarchy. To join these informal talks, email terfcollective@gmail.com.
