This is the full interview WLRN’s Thistle Pettersen did with Agnes Wade for WLRN’s 58th edition podcast dedicated to a feminist analysis of dance.
Agnes is an artist and writer living in the American Midwest. She was first introduced to radical feminist politics through the writing of Andrea Dworkin and categorically rejects any normalization of the sex industry. After many years of being intimately acquainted with the dark underbelly of patriarchy, Agnes believes that the system of male dominance must be completely dismantled for the continuation of life on Earth.
Ms. Wade has a piece coming up in Elizabeth Miller’s new Feminist Anthology, Spinning and Weaving.
In the beginning of the interview, Agnes and Thistle reminisce about how they know each other and trace it back to the WLRN sponsored feminist conference in Chicago, WimCon, in June 2018.
